BWCAW Backpacking Trips

Northern Tier would like to show you the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness any way we can. Groups of up to 8 can hike through the trails along the edge of the remote lakes in the Northwoods. Participants are required to bring their own pack and boots, we will supply the awe and wonder of the majestic border country. We can customize the length of your trip with two options.

Option 1: The Snowbank Lake Loop is a 3 – 4 day, 24 mile backpacking trek. It features hills, rocky ridges, overlooks, and large pines with a few steep places. Water and campsites are readily available. Trailhead is a 5 mile shuttle from the Northern Tier base.

Option 2: The Angleworm Lake Trail is a great 2 – 3 day, 14 mile loop trail featuring scenic overlooks, rocky ridges and areas with large pines. Water and campsites are readily available. Trailhead is a 30+ mile shuttle from the Northern Tier base.

$16/adult, $8/youth,
$12 reservation fee
